On Sunday the 4th. July 2022 Canon Andrew White came to the 10.30 service at St. Lawrence Church in Chobham where he told some of his fascinating story. We made an audio recording of the service and with his permission we have it here on chobhamchurches.com.

Fundraising Concert at St Lawrence Church
on FRIDAY 28 JUNE 2024 at 7.30pm

The concert will feature Baroque favourites: Pachelbel’s Canon in D; Handel’s Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and Bach’s Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring alongside Gershwin’s Summertime; Somewhere over the Rainbow and
Beatles songs: Here comes the sun and Eleanor Rigby.
The Dolina String Quartet, Susie, Liz, Carole and Magda formed in 2019 from friends who regularly perform together with Farnborough and Woking Symphony Orchestras and Surrey Mozart Players.
They really enjoy playing together and exploring a wide range of repertoire including well-known popular and classical favourites, film and musical theatre, folk music from around the world as well as more contemporary styles from lesser-known composers.
They regularly busk in shopping centres for different charities, play for weddings and other celebrations and are delighted that they will be sharing their love of music with you.
